Johnnie Walker

Striding Man

The Brief
At the invitation of AlterLabs, MUVA House created a special CGI project to celebrate Johnnie Walker's presence at The Town 2023 festival in São Paulo. The challenge: bring to life the brand's most iconic symbol — the Striding Man — with full visual and emotional fidelity.

118 Years of History
Created in 1908 by artist Tom Browne, the Striding Man carries 118 years of Johnnie Walker history. To honor this legacy, we rebuilt the character from scratch in 3D using NVIDIA Omniverse as a real-time rendering pipeline. Every detail — from the golden texture to the movement of the cane — was crafted to honor the symbol that represents perseverance and progress.

The Technology
The project used NVIDIA Omniverse for RTX real-time simulation and rendering, with physically accurate lighting and high-fidelity materials. Full character rigging and on-location camera tracking were integrated with frame-by-frame precision — the result of a rigorous technical pipeline and a highly specialized team.

The Result
Although the project was digital, The Town audience was invited to embrace the #KeepWalking spirit: a visual experience that blended the real festival with the brand's CGI universe. The Striding Man came to life at one of Brazil's largest entertainment platforms.

Can you imagine walking alongside this symbol? That was exactly the idea: an invitation to keep moving forward, with style and determination.
